CLIVEDEN
Tuesday 15 October 2019

Come with TAS to Autumn at Cliveden. See this historic house built high overlooking the Thames. Built originally by George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham, for his mistress, the Countess of Shrewsbury.

The last family to live in this house were Waldorf and Nancy Astor, and their son Bill. This year we celebrate 100 years since Nancy Astor took her seat in the House of Commons as the first female Member of Parliament.
